As part of the celebrations to mark to the IAAF Centenary Year, the IAAF Hall of Fame was inaugurated in 2012, as an excellent way to honour our greatest athletes and heighten public awareness of our sport and its rich history.

IAAF Programmes

IAAF Kids’ Athletics, created in 2005, and today with Nestlé as its main sponsor, is one of the biggest grassroots development programmes in the world of sports. By the end of 2011 it had reached a cumulative audience of 1.5 Million kids across 100 territories.
