Returned to athletics in 1995 after 5 years absence. African record holder at 400m and 4x400 relay. In 1998 won GWG and GP 400m. Won 5 times at AfCh, 3 at AfG. At 4x400 was 2nd at OG 1996; at 4x100 3rd at WJ 1986 and WUG 1987.
