Three World champions among winners of season-long IAAF Challenge contests
The 2013 season of the third of three annual IAAF Challenge series which are decided on standings drew to a close last weekend as Talence hosted the final competition of the IAAF Combined Events Challenge. Earlier in the month, the IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge ended in Rieti, while the IAAF Race Walking Challenge reached its climax at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow.-

Barrondo, Partanen and Poves take the honours in Dublin - IAAF Race Walking Challenge
There was a comfortable win for Guatemalan favourite Erick Barrondo in thre 20km Race Walk at the Dublin Grand Prix of Race Walking – part of this year’s IAAF Race Walking Challenge and the last event before the IAAF World Championships – but there were surprises in the other two events in the Irish capital on Saturday (29).
