Ethiopian and Nigerian athletes impress at African Junior Champs

Mauritius commendably took over the organisation of the 11th African Junior Championships from South Africa two months prior to the competition. In return, the athletes staged the show and came up with two championship records at the Germain Comarmond Stadium in Bambous.

Local star Miller makes her mark on the Carifta Games in Nassau

Bahamas’ Shaunae Miller gave the home crowd plenty to cheer as she produced the pick of the six records set at the 42nd Carifta Games, which ended at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium in the Bahamas capital Nassau on Monday night (1).
