I truly enjoy this success. I just wanted to give my best. I never thought to have a shot at winning. I am shy and like basket ball. It is very unusual for me that it is light so late at night. I'm having a hard time to fall asleep. In Taiwan, the sun sets at 6 pm.
Ich genieße diesen Erfolg. Ich wollte einfach nur mein bestes geben. Ich hatte nie gedacht, gewinnen zu konnen. Ich bin ein schuchterner Junge. Ich mag Basketball. Es ist fur mich ungewohnlich, dass es hier am Abend so lange hell ist. Deshalb tue ich mich schwer, am Abend einzuschlafen. Bei uns in Taiwan ist es um 18 Uhr bereits finster.
Sto gustando questo risultato. Volevo solo dare il meglio delle mie capacità. Non ho mai pensato che avrei potuto vincere. Sono un po' timido. Mi piace molto il basket. Mi ha stupito una cosa qui che di sera e' ancora molto chiaro il cielo, non ci sono abituato. la sera quindi ho qualche difficoltà ad addormentarmi. Da noi a Taiwan alle 18 e' già notte
I didn't know any of my competitors and had no idea what their levels are. Great to win the Silver. In addition to sports I also love to surf the net and photography. I attend a graphic school and train in the little stadium in my town which is close to Tours. My mother and my sister are here with me today. I will continue to train hard, as everyone else here, hope to compete at the Olympics.
Non conoscevo i miei avversari e non avevo idea del loro livello. Sono stato bravo a vincere questo argento. Le mie passioni a parte l'atletica sono il surf, internet e la fotografia. Frequento una scuola per grafici e mi alleno nello stadio della mia piccola città, vicino Tours. Mia madre e mia sorella sono qui oggi. Voglio continuare ad allenarmi bene per poter arrivare un giorno alle Olimpiadi.
Ich kannte keinen meiner Konkurrenten und wusste deshalb nicht, wie ich sie einschatzen sollte. Super, dass ich Silber gewonnen habe. Neben Sport gefaellt surfe ich gerne im Internet oder fotografiere. Ich besuche eine Grafikschule und trainiere im Stadion von Tours. Meine Mutter und meine Schwester sind hier mit mir und werden sich sicher ueber meinen Erfolg freuen. Ich werde weiter trainieren, denn der Speerwurf gefaellt mir sehr gut. Wie alle anderen hier, moechte auch ich irgendwann an Olympischen Spielen teilnehmen.
My team from Argentina is very small - 9 people - which is why I am even happier about my medal. I am 15 and live closeby to Buenos Aires with my mothre and a sister who is 13 years old and who just started in athletics as well as an 11-year-old brother. I started in athletics when I was 9 thanks to my coach Juan Gustavo Osorio who gave me the chance to try all the different cateogires before deciding on the javelin. This is my first time outside south America and i think Europe is so different. But I like it. My role model is the Czech athlete Jan Zelezny but the Norwegian Thorkildsen is the one I like the best among currently competing athletes.
La squadra argentina qui e piccola, siamo solo in otto percio' sono contentissimo di questa medaglia. Ho 15 anni e vivo nei dintorni di Buenos Aires con mia madre mia sorella di 13 anni che ha iniziato a fare atletica e mio fratello di 11. Sono arrivato all'atletica a nove anni grazie al mio allenatore Juan Gustavo Osorio che mi ha fatto provare di tutto e poi da due anni mi ha insegnato a tirare il giavellotto. Questa e la prima volta che esco dal Sud America l'Europa e' proprio un altro mondo, ma mi piace molto. Il mio modello di lanciatore e' Jan Zelezny anche se fra i lanciatori in attività mi piace molto Thorkildsen.
Wir haben nur eine sehr kleine Mannschaft mit acht Athleten. Ich bin stolz, eine Medaille gewonnen zu haben. Ich bin ja erst 15. Ich komme aus der Nahe von Buenos Aires. Als 9-Jahrige habe ich mit der Leichtathletik begonnen. Mein Trainer Juan Gustavo Osorio hat mich vor zwei Jahren zum Speerwerfen gebracht. Ich bin erstmals außerhalb Sudamerikas. Das hier ist eine vollig andere Welt, aber sie gefallt mir sehr gut. Mein Vorbil ist der Tscheche Jan Zelezny. Von den aktuellen Speerwerfern gefallt mir der Norweger Thorkildsen am besten.
