The number of entries for the 2005 Hervis Pargue Half Marathon exceeded 3000 for the first time in the history of the race on Wednesday (30 March). The race will start on the world famous Charles Bridge, on Saturday (2 April).

Defending champion Joseph Ngeny of Kenya will be aiming at a new course record. “The new improvements on the course could be a blessing but they could also be tricky” admits Ngeny who broke the men’s course record for the first time since 2001, last year.

The women’s course record seems to be a different story though. It has improved every single year since the first edition of the race back in 1999.
