9 runners to represent Kenya at the World Indoors

A squad of nine runners will represent Kenya at the IAAF World Indoor Championships, Istanbul, Turkey, 9-11 March 2012.


The middle distance running team is led by 2008 Olympic 800m champion Pamela Jelimo who was second in 1:59:10 at the IAAF Permit Meeting in Lievin, France on 14 February, her first sub 2:00 performance in two and half years, and a national indoor record.
