WinnerYordan L. O'FARRILL, CUB
After this personal best (13,18) I'm certainly sure I can break the world junior record. The race has been nearly perfect and this victory I dedicate to Cuba and my family. Dyron Robles is my idol and I'm training with him in Cuba. Robles is advising me all the time. Today was my last competition of the season. (Alberto Juantorena was the first to congratulate him and gave him the national flag).

Second - Nicholas HOUGH, AUS
I was hoping for the medal and after breaking the national record that is the best result I could ask for. I have been practicing sports since I was nine. It is really hard to combine studying and sports especially now that I am in Law school. But I like to keep myself busy. I think a great coach and the support is the key to success. After the competition I am going to have a short break and afterwards I will be focusing on hurdles.

Third - Wilhem BELOCIAN, FRA
A third place is super if you consider that I am still Youth. But I made some technical mistakes and I must work again to run better. I told yesterday about my second leg( that I should go faster), but it's not the only one. Yordan is like a new Dayron Robles and I was a little bit stressed. Now I must be concentrated for my school exams.
