I am really happy because I not only got the gold but also achieved good personal results. It was about time, too: I acheved my personal best, althought I am not very satisfied with the results for all the heats, but the last two I ran very well. Last year I won the Juniors' 3 thousand meters, and today I dedicate this medal to my country.

Race was good.We were running with Conseslus.He made the attack and I couldn't catch him.He deserved the gold and we made the double on steeplechase.I am very happy.Now my season is over. I am going to my hometown Nairobi.
