WinnerAlexandra TAVERNIER, FRA
That's amazing. I didn't expect to make such a throw today. I have beaten my record for more than two meters, and over the 70 Meters mark. All that happened during the Bastille day. We will have a Marseillaise today. I am thinking about my parents at the moment. They have done so much for me to obtain this result.

Second - Alexia SEDYKH, FRA
Silver is OK, but I wanted to improve my personal best. Therefore, I am a little bit disappointed. It's not difficult to be the daughter of famous parents. They have done their career, I am doing my career. My parents are always a big support for me, my father told me before this World Championships that I have to concentrate on myself and not to look at the other girls. (Her parents are Yuryi Sedykh and Natalia Lisovksaya, both Olympic champions and world record holders. Both of my parents are in the stadium to support me.

Third - Alena NAVAHRODSKAYA, BLR
I am not satisfied with this result, I could have done better, I felt I had a great potential: I was second in the Youth Olympic Games in 2010. My coach is Valeriy Gubkin and I am training in Grodno in Belorussia. My aim now is only winning.
