Bekele wins Cinque Mulini Cross

Bekele lands Five Mills crosscountry

10 March 2002 - San Vittore Olona, Italy - Ethiopia's Kenesisa Bekele won Sunday's prestigious 70th running of the Five Mills cross-country race here near Milan.

Bekele won with some ease ahead of second-placed Charles Kamathi of Kenya and another Ethiopian Assefa Mezgebu who finished third.

Yugoslavia's Olivera Jevtic won the women's race.
