Decathlon - Event Six - 110m Hurdles

Andrei Krauchanka was the fastest competitor in this sixth event of the men’s Junior Decathlon, the 110m Hurdles, with his time of 14.55 giving him 905 points and extending his lead at the head of the rankings.

With 15.16 seconds for 830 points, Norman Muller remained in second place and Aleksey Sysoyev in third with 15.25 (820 pts), whilst Andres Silva once again dropped down to fifth position after coming sixth in his heat with 15.57 points and being overtaken by Netherlands’ Pelle Rietveld, who produced a strong performance to win the first heat in 14.95 secs for 856 points.

After six events, Krauchanka leads with 5246 points, Muller has 5030, Sysoyev 4983, Rietveld 4903, Silva 4897 and Czech Republic’s Lukas Pater, who ran a new PB of 15.02 (847 points), 4722.
