Doping Rule Violation

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has been informed by the Jamaica Amatuer Athletic Association (JAAA) that the female athlete, Suzette LEE, has been found guilty of the following doping violation under IAAF Rules:

Presence of the prohibited substance Salbutamol (S3. Beta-2 Agonists) in her doping control sample (IAAF Rule 32.2a)

This doping violation relates to a sample collected on 21.07.05 in Lappeentanta (FIN) at the Evli Karelia Games.

In conformity with the IAAF Rules, the ARAF has imposed the following sanction for a first violation:

• Public Warning
• Disqualification of all results from the competition where the sample was collected.

This information has been added to the 2005 List of Anti-doping Rule Violations which can be found on the IAAF website in the anti-doping statistics section.
 
Note: Under the IAAF Rules, athletes sanctioned for a doping violation have the right to appeal this decision to the relevant appeals body.
