Following a three week break since the adidas Grand Prix in New York took place on Saturday (12 June) and it was announced that Samsung had been signed as the title sponsor for the series, the Samsung Diamond League resumes next Saturday 3 July in Eugene for the 36th annual Prefontaine Classic on Hayward Field.
Among the star names in already announced line-ups of nine disciplines are Samsung Diamond League Ambassadors Tyson Gay (200m), Shelly-Ann Fraser (100m), and Barbora Spotakova (JT) and there will be many more great names declared in the coming days as the entry lists for the remaining events are revealed.
