FacebookTwitterEmail

Gold MedallistJeremy WARINER USA
"I ran a great race tonight, I can't say anything else. I stayed focused the whole race, that's what we have been working on with my coach."

"I was concentrating to be first at 300 meters and it went well. However, the last 100 meters were fastastic. After I came off the last turn, I just told myself: 'Stay strong'."

"I've been training with my coach and I just do exactly what he says. We've been doing workouts well, so we don't have to change anything with it."

"Two gold medals in two years is nice. I had no pressure, everybody is talking about it but I just run my own race."

"For future plans maybe I will try the 200 meters in few years, but the 800 meters definitely doesn't fit into my plans."

Silver Medallist - Andrew ROCK USA
"I am very excited right now. It was good to see Jeremy (WARINER) win and great to finish one-two for the USA."

"My goal for the year was to run a personal best, which I did today by 0.3 seconds, and also to medal here in Helsinki, so I achieved all of those."

"The conditions for the semi-final were pretty tough, but it cleared out for today so that helped a lot."

Bronze Medallist - Tyler CHRISTOPHER CAN
"I'm really happy. Bronze medal is not the same as the gold, but this was the fastest race where I have ever been, I even ran a national record. It was great to be in that race."

"I was aiming for the gold, but this was just an amazing race."
