"I was in third position for most of the race and only really accelerated in the last lap. Our pre-race strategy was not to take any risk with our technique in the first five kilometers. With two laps to go, the disqualification of the Chinese athlete made things easier for us.
The temperature was good at the beginning of the race but progressively it became really hot".
