Heptathlon - Event Four - 200m

A superb run in the final event of the first day rocketed Jessica Ennis of Great Britain back into the lead of the Heptathlon.

Ennis ran a PB of 24.23 to pick up 959 points and turn around the tables, giving herself a 51 point lead over Zemaityte, whose weaker performance in the 200m (25.46) earned her 845 points.

Kathrin Geissler moved up to the third position with her 24.36 run, the winning time in her heat, that was worth 946 points for a four event total of 3459.

Robbeson remains in contention after a poorer performance in the 200m, with 25.12 seconds for 876 points taking her to 3405.
