I am in the best shape of my life. The two races this winter helped prepare for this World Championships. I ran patiently the first two rounds and gave it all out today. I am surprised by the time. It is so special giving the first athletics gold to Costa Rica, after finishing fourth in 2008 and 2010. Those behind me know what I am capable of. My message to my fellow Costa Ricans is we can and should dream high.
Second - Demetrius PINDER, BAH
I want to thank God for giving me the strengh today. This is my first individual medal at World Championships. The Bahamas is a small nation but we keep showing we can achieve big things. We came second and third today. Indoors is all about speed, which I have. I want to celebrate at home and continue to train hard for London.
Third - Chris BROWN, BAH
I would like to thank God for this opportunity. This is my fourth World Indoor Champioships individual medal and I am still running well against younger guys. Every medal is important, but this is the last World Indoors running the individual relay. An individual outdoor medal is missing and I will get it in London.
