First of all I would like to give praise to the Lord for giving us the strenght today. My church is the Voices of Faith back home in the Bahamas. Now I want to eat and get a good rest. All my success is coming indoors. Tomorrow, at the final, I will take all by itself. I just have to wait until it happens.

After the first lap, which was very fast, I told myself to slow down a little bit to spare energy for the finish. Maybe, it was an error. I could have dipped below 46 and broken the national record if I had not done so. But I think I surprised many people back home who didn't believe I could make it to the final because I'm so young.
