Samsung Diamond Race 100m Hurdles leader Lolo Jones insists life definitely isn't boring despite there being no major championships gold medal for American athletes to target this summer.

While African and European counterparts have raised their game at the recently finished Area Championships in Nairobi and Barcelona, Jones and her colleagues have only had the national championships to satisfy their hunger for gold medal success.

That has seen the 28-year-old two-time IAAF World Indoors 60m Hurdles champion satisfy her appetite on the now firmly welcomed Samsung Diamond League circuit - and she admits to loving every minute of the testing challenges it offers.

Jones has kept a clean sheet in five appearances at the widely separated venues with different climatic conditions of Doha, Oslo, New York, Gateshead and Monaco - a recognition of the concept of spreading meetings to fans worldwide.

Now Jones is adamant at what is clearly a labour of love for one of athletics most popular and respected professional performers, she is determined to continue her success at the DN Galan Samsung Diamond League meet in Stockholm on Friday.
