Junior Fever in Mannheim

Many under 18 athletes took part in the "Juniorengala" in Mannheim, Germany, where several under 20 and under 23 races were also part of the competition. Two performances in particular stood out as the most promising: France’s Sebastian Homo (82) pole vaulted 5.30m, and the 4x100m German relay team made up of Wurm, Habel, Schorr and Kaufmann clocked an excellent time of 45.53.
