Johnson and Marion Jones to compete in South Africa
Johannesburg, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Double Olympic champion Michael Johnson and world 100 metres gold medallist Marion Jones will compete at two international athletics meetings in South Africa next month.
Johnson, who set the world 200 record at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and Jones, will compete at a meeting in Roodepoort, near Johannesburg, on March 19 and then in Cape Town on March 26.
Jones, who will attempt four gold medals at this year's world championships in Seville, clocked the second fastest times ever over 100 and 200 metres at last year's World Cup in Johannesburg.
Neither athlete will be competing indoors this season.
