Paris, FranceMizuno which is an IAAF Official Partner has through its French subsidiary begun a two-year partnership with the Meeting Gaz de France Paris Saint-Denis which is one of the six meetings of the 2008 ÅF Golden League.

Ever since it was founded in 1906, Mizuno has been an enthusiastic supporter of sport and athletics in particular. Building upon its partnerships with the IAAF and legendary athletes such as Frankie Fredericks, the brand has acquired genuine legitimacy in this sport internationally.

“Athletics is one of our key areas and will help us to make the brand better known by a wider spectrum of the public. With this in mind, the Meeting Gaz de France Paris Saint-Denis was definitely the event to support” explained Henriette Lopy, Marketing Manager for Mizuno France.

This year’s edition on 18 July marks the tenth anniversary of the Paris Saint-Denis meeting and as in previous years, the Stade de France will provide a spectacular venue.

Mizuno will also be adding its own personal touch in order to make this 2008 event one of the most memorable ever. More than 60,000 spectators travelled to Saint-Denis last season to watch the cream of international athletics battling it out in the legendary setting of The Stade, and this year, Mizuno will be offering the chance to win tickets to this leading international event through its distribution network.
