Mohamed beats Munich medallists, as 36,000 runners take part in Gothenburg Half Marathon

Swedish steeplechaser Mustafa Mohamed won the Gothenburg Half Marathon on Saturday (15 May) beating Finland’s European Marathon champion Janne Holmen and Estonia's Munich 2002 silver medallist Pavel Loskutov in the process.

Morrocco's 1992 Olympic 10,000m champion Khalid Skah was fifth.

The race attracted 36,000 runners.
