The list of top names signed up to compete in the Meeting Seat in the Palais Omnisports Bercy on Friday 13 February continues to grow with the announcement of quality men’s Triple Jump.

The Olympic bronze medallist Leevan Sands from the Bahamas, who leapt to a national record of 17.59m when taking that medal in Beijing will compete against France’s World Junior champion Teddy Tamgho, who last weekend established the leading performance in the world this indoor season with a jump of 17.37m.

Joining them will be three other French jumpers who were over 17m last year, Colomba Fofana, Jules Lechanga and Benjamin Compaoré.

Three top Cuban technicians who took part in the Beijing Olympics will also challenge for victory in Bercy. They are David Giralt who was fourth in the Olympic final and last year in Valencia took the World Indoor silver medal, Alexis Copello, who had a best of 17.50 in 2008, and Hector Dairo Fuentes, who jumped 17.43m last year.
