anything about athletics or sport. To go through rounds and rounds before you reach the
final is extremely hard and to reach the final is a great success. To get this medal is an
even greater achievement. I was in lane eight and in that wide starting position you just
concentrate on getting round the bend before you can even think about the rest of the
race. That's what I successfully did today." |

| "Oh god, oh my god, I've got third! (as the result of
the third place appears on the TV screen). This is my fourth world championship at this
level and the first time I'm in the final, so you cannot imagine just how pleased I am.
This medal is worth more than words can describe. A tight race and my hardest. I was tense
but the way Miller ran, drew the best out of all of us today. However, I'm sure I have
more speed to come. My start today was terrible." |

| "Los que piensan que solo importa el oro no saben
nada de atletismo ni de deporte. Pasar rondas y rondas hasta llegar a la final es
extremadamente duro y alcanzar la final es un gran exito. Conseguir esta medalla es un
exito aun mayor. Estaba en la calle 8 y en esa posicion de salida tan abierta solo puedes
concentrarte en hacer el giro antes de que puedas siquiera pensar en el resto de la
carrera. Esto es lo que he conseguido hoy.@ |

"Oh Dios, oh Dios, soy la tercera (Como resultado de
que la tercera plaza aparece en la pantalla) Es mi cuarto campeonato de este nivel y la
primera vez que estoy en la final, no podeis imaginar lo contenta que estoy. Esta medalla
vale mas de lo que las palabras pueden describir. Una disputada carrera y la mas dura para
mi. Estaba tensa pero el modo en que corrio Miller, extrajo lo mejor de todas nosotras
hoy. De todos modos, estoy segura dee que aun tengo mas velocidad que conseguir. Mi salida
