The IAAF website's editorial team brings you comprehensive written news coverage of all the action from the tenth edition of the IAAF World Cup in Athletics, Athens, Greece, on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2006.

- News of each discipline will be published at the conclusion of each event. Competition begins on Saturday at 16:30hrs (13:30hrs GMT) and Sunday at 16:15hrs (13:15hrs GMT) with the Hammer Throw competitions.

As well as these Event Reports, our written coverage of the two days of competition at this unique global team competition, will include a Daily Summary of the highlights of the action, and Feature Stories with some of the main stars.

The IAAF World Cup in Athletics in 2006 brings together teams from Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania, USA, - the three individual European nations qualified via the European Cup - Russia (men and women), France (men), and Poland (women), plus the hosts Greece, in competition on the nine lane facility of the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece.
