Event Report - Girls 400m Hurdles Final

FacebookTwitterEmail

Ebony Collins bagged her second medal of the championships when taking gold in a championship record and year-leading mark of 55.96 with a masterful display of hurdling.

The American, who won silver in yesterday’s 100m, revised her personal best from 57.87.

Collins looked the winner all the way, quickly eating up the stagger on the athletes outside her and coming into the home straight with a practically unassailable lead.

Australia’s Lauren Boden was second in 58.30 and Japan’s Aya Miyahara was third with 59.62.
