Flash Interview - Women Visually Impaired 200m

Gold MedallistAdria SANTOS BRA
"I guess I could have run faster but it doesn't matter because my priority was to win here. I was a bit concerned whether my guide Rafael Krub was able to run fast enough. He had to take some medication for his tooth ache."

"When I came on the track it was pretty quiet out there, but when I waved to the crowd they cheered. I felt they were close to the track and loved the sport."

"I dedicate this victory to my 15 years old daughter, Barbara."

Silver Medallist - Purificacion SANTAMARTA ESP
"I'm satisfied with the 2nd place, but the time wasn't good enough."

"This season has been difficult, I have had too many work hours and too few training hours. I have also two children, so it's difficult to find time for training. During those years the Paralympics are held I don't work at all, I just train. Otherwise I have to work."

Bronze Medallist - Paraskevi KANTZA GRE
"This has been a totally different experience from what I've ever had. I am very honoured to have had this chance to run from the IAAF. All this was worth the hard training I have gone through."
