Wlodarczyk and Fajdek lead Polish team for IAAF World Championships London 2017

The Polish Athletic Association (PZLA) has announced a team of 49 for the IAAF World Championships London 2017, 4-13 August.

The team is led by hammer throwers Anita Wlodarczyk, the Olympic champion and world record holder, and Pawel Fajdek, the defending champion and world leader.

The team also includes Pawel Wojciechowski, the 2011 world champion in the pole vault, and Piotr Lisek, the European indoor champion and 2015 world bronze medallist in the pole vault. Adam Kszczot, the 2015 silver medallist at 800m, also returns.
