The local organising committee of the IAAF World Championships London 2017 have published the 1st Official Bulletin for next year’s championships.
The IAAF World Championships London 2017 will be staged at The Stadium within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, between 4-13 August 2017.
The stadium was the main venue for the London 2012 Olympic Games and has also hosted the IAAF Diamnond League meeting in London in recent years.
“The first Official Bulletin of the IAAF World Championships London 2017 marks the beginning of the finishing straight for the event’s planning and organisation," said IAAF President Sebastian Coe. "2000 athletes from more than 200 nations will gather next summer in the 2012 Olympic stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for what will be the biggest global championships of any sport in 2017."

Le Comité d'organisation local des Championnats du Monde de l'IAAF, Londres 2017, a publié le premier bulletin d’informations officiel des Mondiaux de l'année prochaine.
Les Championnats du Monde de l'IAAF, Londres 2017, se tiendront dans l'enceinte du stade situé dans le Parc olympique Queen Elizabeth, du 4 au 13 août 2017.
Ce stade était le site principal des Jeux Olympiques de Londres 2012, et il a également accueilli ces dernières années, la manche londonienne de la Diamond League de l'IAAF.
« Ce premier bulletin d’informations officiel des Championnats du Monde de l'IAAF, Londres 2017, marque l'entrée dans la dernière ligne droite de la planification et de l'organisation de l'épreuve », a déclaré le président de l'IAAF, Sebastian Coe.
« Quelque 2 000 athlètes représentant plus de 200 nations vont se retrouver l'été prochain dans le stade olympique de 2012, au sein du Parc olympique Queen Elizabeth, pour le plus grand événement sportif de l’année 2017, tous sports confondus, de l'année 2017. »
