'Best Media Facilities of 2003' AwardThe media operation at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics, Paris, was awarded the prestigious 'best media facilities of 2003' award by the Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive (AIPS).
Jayne Pearce, on behalf of the Paris 2003 Local Organising Committee and Pearce International, collected the prize on 6 March 2004 on the occasion of the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest.
This was the second time that the award has been given to a media operation managed by Jayne Pearce and her team. The previous occasion was for the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Edmonton, Canada, 2001.
