Recently the President of The Al Manufia University (Egypt) Dr. Mohamed Ez Al Arab has signed an agreement with the IAAF in order to officially integrate the IAAF School & Youth programme in the curriculum of the Faculty of Sport and Education.
The Ceremony has been attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Education of Al-Manufia Dr. Essam Edin Matwaly, El Hebil Abdel Malek (IAAF Representative) and Dr Hamdi Abderahim (Director of the IAAF RDC- Cairo).
The first educational course, in accordance with the IAAF standard, was launched on Saturday 14 March 2009. 26 participants took part in this first course which was conducted by two IAAF accredited lecturers: Dr Ezza Elemary and Dr Atif Sayed Ahmed.
All the participants are currently following courses to become PE teachers in the Faculty of Sport and Education in the Al-Manufia University.

L'Université Al Manufiah, Egypte, adopte le Programme Écoles / Jeunes de l'IAAF
Le président de l'Université Al Manufiah (Egypte), le docteur Mohamed Ez Al Arab, a récemment signé un accord avec l'IAAF portant sur l'intégration officielle du Programme Écoles / Jeunes de l'IAAF dans le cursus de la faculté de sport et d'éducation.
La cérémonie de signature a été effectuée en présence du directeur de la faculté de sport et d'éducation d'Al-Manufiah, le docteur Essam Edin Matwaly, ainsi que de El Hebil Abdel Malek, représentant l'IAAF, et du docteur Hamdi Abderahim, directeur du centre du CRD de l'IAAF du Caire.
Le premier stage pédagogique, en accord avec les critères imposés par l'IAAF, a été lancé samedi 14 mars 2009. Ce stage, qui a rassemblé 26 personnes, était dirigé par deux intervenants accrédités par l'IAAF: le docteur Ezza Elemary et le docteur Atif Sayed Ahmed.
Chacun des participants étudie actuellement pour devenir des enseignants d'éducation physique au sein de la faculté de sport et d'éducation de l'université Al-Manufiah.
