Stuttgart, GermanyWhile the world’s best athletes will compete in the IAAF / VTB Bank World Athletics Final in Stuttgart on 22 / 23 September there will once again be an event for spectators and fun runners on the morning of the second day.
Organisers of the World Athletics Final will then start the Athletics Day Run which will lead probably about 1000 runners into the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion, the venue for the elite competition.
There will be three different competitions within the one 6.7km race, which will lead runners from the Schloßplatz through parks and then into the stadium: a team event for clubs, friends and colleagues, a family team event and an individual event.
