I can't put this into words. It is pretty remarkable coming out of the country for the first time and winning gold at the world juniors in a beautiful city like Barcelona. I am very happy but also very tired now. It is a blessing to end the season like this. To be on this level is incredible. I trusted my coach with the training and the plan was to come out of the blocks nice and clean and then hit when the time is right. It worked really well.
Second - Kadecia BAIRD, GUY
I really did't expect a medal in Barcelona. I broke finally my personal best over one second so it's awesome. However, I could have run better if I had been more aggressive in the start.
Third - Erika RUCKER, USA
I can't believe because I improved my personal best almost one second.I am very happy and I'm blessed.I have been training track&field since I was 13 years old.I am studying in South Carolina University.There is only one race left for me this season,4x400 relay.Then I will have some time off.
