When I arrived to Barcelona I couldn't expect this medal. I tribute this victory to my home country, Cuba, my family and also to my teachers. I dream of becoming a super athlete as Jessica Ennis, who is actually my idol.

A dream comes true, I didn't expect silver. There was only a small hope for a medal. So it is really fantastic for me. It was a personal best for me in heptathlon. My best result in the two days was the highjump with 1,78 m.
