ENTRIES

Team and Reserves:

In all races a Member may enter a maximum of eight athletes; no more than six shall be allowed to start in the race with four to score.

Age Categories:

Junior athletes (i.e. athletes born in 1991 or 1992, who will be 18 or 19 by 31 December 2010) can compete in any race.  However, Junior athletes cannot compete in both Junior and Senior Races.

Youth athletes (i.e. athletes born in 1993 or 1994, who will be 16 or 17 by 31 December 2010) can compete only in the Junior Race.

No athlete younger than 16 years of age on 31 December 2010 (i.e. born in 1995 or later) may be entered.


SCORING

Each race shall be scored separately.

The team results shall be decided by the aggregate of places recorded by the scoring competitors of each team. The team with the lowest aggregate of points will be judged the winner.

If a team fails to finish with a complete scoring team, the runners finishing shall be counted as individuals in the race result and be eligible for the individual awards.

In assessing the aggregate, no adjustment to the scoring of the finishing teams shall be made in respect of any non-scoring team runners or of individual entries.

In the event of a tie, it will be decided in favour of the team whose last scoring member finishes nearer the first place.
