FacebookTwitterEmail

Thomas Loriongosiwa, who was second in the 8km junior men's category at the National Championships last month, has replaced Gedion Ngatunyi in the Kenyan World Cross Country team for Fukuoka, Japan (1 - 2 April), due to the latter athlete being over age.

Ngatunyi and another squad member Robert Ndiwa were discovered to be 20 and 24-years-old respectively.

Daniel Gitau has been named as Ndiwa's replacement. Loriongosiwa was second in the junior category at the national championships while Gitau finished seventh at the World Cross trials.
