Thirteen Italian athletes have been capped by the Technical Director of the Italian Athletics Federation Nicola Silvaggi for the 12th edition of the IAAF World Championships in Valencia.
The major hopes are carried by fresh Italian 60 metres record holder Simone Collio (6.55 in Valencia) and by last year’s world High Jump silver medallist Antonietta Di Martino (national outdoor record holder with 2.03m).
