FacebookTwitterEmail

The IAAF has received the analytical results of the urine samples collected from the two Czech athletes, Roman Sebrle and Tomas Dvorak, immediately after the end of the 1500m in the Men’s Decathlon event on 10 August 2005.

The two urine samples have been reported as negative for all prohibited substances and methods and the Helsinki Laboratory has advised the IAAF that there is no evidence of manipulation in either sample.

The full results of a blood sample collected from Roman Sebrle are still awaited although the blood parameters have already been reported as normal.

A full investigation into alleged intravenous infusions by the athletes prior to the 1500m has been completed and it has been agreed that no further action will be taken.
