Czech Republic to send squad of 31 to London

The national Olympic committee for the Czech Republic confirmed 31 athletes - 17 women and 14 men - for its athletics team for the London Olympic Games.

The team is led by defending Olympic champion in the Javelin Throw Barbora Špotáková. It also includes Roman Šebrle, the gold medallist in the Decathlon in 2004 and silver medallist in 2000, who'll compete in the Olympics for the fourth time. Another past medallist, Jaroslav Bába who took bronze in the High Jump in 2004, is also on the squad.
