The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has been informed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) that the male athlete, Ridouane ES-SAADI, has been found guilty of the following doping violation under IAAF Rules:
Presence of the prohibited substance Methandienone (S7. Narcotics) in his doping control sample (IAAF Rule 32.2a)
This doping violation relates to a sample collected in-competition on 15.01.06 in Belgium
In conformity with the IAAF Rules, the CAS has imposed the following sanction:
• Life Ban
• Disqualification of all results from 15.01.06
This information has been added to the 2006 List of Anti-Doping Rule Violations which can be found on the IAAF website in the anti-doping statistics section.
