Doping Rule Violation

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has been informed by the Fédération Française d’Athlétisme (FFA) that the male athlete, Mohamed ASAIDI, has been found guilty of the following doping violation under IAAF Rules:

Presence of the prohibited substance Terbutaline (S3. Beta-2-Agonists) in his doping control sample (IAAF Rule 32.2a)

This doping violation relates to a sample collected in-competition on 31.01.09 in Bompas, France

In conformity with the IAAF Rules, the FFA has imposed the following sanction for a first violation:

• Public Warning
• Disqualification of all results of 31.01.09


Note: Under the IAAF Rules, athletes sanctioned for a doping violation have the right to appeal this decision to the relevant appeals body.
