The authors, the renowned statisticians A. Lennart Julin (SWE) and Mirko Jalava (FIN) begin their analysis of the Athletics events of 2003 with their Sprints Review, and will conclude their series on New Year’s Eve with their opinions about this year’s Combined Events competitions.
