Organisers of the 13th IAAF World Indoor Championships, taking place in Doha, Qatar, in March, have signed up the Qatar Insurance Company as the first domestic partner.
The agreement was signed on Monday (18) between HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, President of the Doha 2010 organising committee and General Secretary of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and Khalifa al-Subaei, group chief executive of Qatar Insurance Company.
HE Sheikh Saoud said he was “confident that more such announcements will be made in the build-up to Doha 2010.”
The organising committee last week announced Virgin Megastores as a national supplier to provide a ticketing service to the event.
