ever website on Ethiopian athletics has been launched by the organisers of the The Great Ethiopian Run.
The race-organising project which was founded three years ago and has since staged three editions of Africa’s biggest mass-participation road race, hopes that www.ethiopiarun.org will be an ideal source of information for anyone interested in Ethiopian athletics.
The website aims to provide news on international competitions featuring Ethiopia’s top athletes; on races staged in Ethiopia including the 2004 Toyota Great Ethiopian Run which takes place on Sunday 28th November 2004; and on topical stories about Ethiopia’s athletes.
This week the website has the latest news on the selection of Ethiopia’s athletics team for Athens; some news from the 10th IAAF World Junior Championships and news about the new title sponsor for the 2004 Toyota Great Ethiopian Run.
