RUSSIA
Natalya NAZAROVA: "We had a great race on a fast track in very good conditions. I do not know what will be the composition of our team in the finals. The coaches will tell us either today evening or tomorrow morning. We have more possibilities to include new runners into our team."

JAMAICA:
Shericka WILLIAMS: "We rely on Novlene Williams in the final and hopefully we will be in a medal position then. The person with the slowest split will be replaced by Novlene. We do not know yet, it might be our second leg - it is her first year as a senior, she is still in high school. Every lane in the final has its advantages and disadvantages for a relay race, so we do not really bother about that."

USA
DeeDee TROTTER: "We are very good in any composition. We will know who will run the finals this evening. All was okay, our exchanges, we are really looking forward to it."

Monique HENNAGAN: "We have only a little practice, so needed just to execute."

POLAND
Grazyna PROKOPEK: "Unfortunately one of our core members, Monika Bejnar needed to fly home because of illness. We could be even stronger, but all girls fighted great and we are in the finals."

Ana JESIEN: "My role was to bring our team into the finish on the position which will make the finals. Around 50 m before the line I hear that my teammates are shouting on me. Some runner was closing to me, so I had to control the third position."

GREAT BRITAIN & N.I.
Nicola SANDERS: "It was just a matter of qualifying. The girls did a good job and didn't leave me much to do. Christine Ohuruogu was spared, she won the gold obviously. She's got over all the critics and is very positive about the race now."
