These news sections are opening to mark the major test event of the World Championships, the DKB-ISTAF meeting of the ÅF Golden League 2009 which takes place in Berlin’s Olympic stadium this Sunday 14 June, and they will continue to operate until the last day of the championships, 23 August.

The three news sections are open as of today and can be accessed via the following links:

French

German
http://www.iaaf.org/deu/index.html

Spanish

These news sections as well as offering a summary of the major stories originally published in English on the IAAF website will relay the top international news with a focus on stories that have a particular appeal to the language of their specific audience, and as such the information content of each page is different.

On a day to day basis these language news summaries can be accessed from the IAAF website via the language headings situated on the top of the main IAAF home page - www.iaaf.org - and that of Berlin 2009 - www.iaaf.org/wch09/index.html
