France has named teams in all six sprint-based events for the IAAF/BTC World Relays, Bahamas 2015, along with a women’s distance medley relay team.

After winning the European titles outdoors and indoors over the past 12 months, perhaps their best bet of a podium placing in Nassau rests with the women’s 4x400m team. It includes Floria Guei, who ran a storming anchor leg to bring them the European title in Zurich last year.

The men’s 4x100m team will be looking for redemption of sorts in Nassau. After qualifying for the final last year, the team was forced to make a last-minute withdrawal after first-leg runner Arnaud Remy picked up an injury before getting into his blocks.

This year’s squad includes 2013 European indoor champion Jimmy Vicaut and three-time European champion Christophe Lemaitre.

France’s best finish in Nassau last year came in the men’s 4x200m in which they set a European record to finish third. Two members of that team – Lemaitre and Ben Bassaw – will be in the Bahamian capital once again this year.
