Mbarak Hussein and Nicole Aish picked up their first-ever USA marathon titles when winning their respective races in Minneapolis on Sunday.
Hussein had a double celebration, winning both the open and veterans crown in a time of two hours 18 minutes 28 seconds.
Ben Rosario's strong late finish claimed the runner-up spot in 2:20:43 with third place going to Wynston Alberts who clocked 2:21:42.
Aish, making her marathon debut at the Twin Cities venue, finished in a time of 2:40:21, in the warm but breezy conditions.
Zika Palmer claimed second place 45 seconds behind in a personal best 2:41:06 while Susan Loken also achieved her fastest time ever when third in 2:43:10 - a performance that also clinched her the veterans top award.
